Melissa Schilling

Melissa Schilling
If her life was a board game, it would be called Culinary Pursuit.

Melissa Schilling developed an early passion for food and wine from her Italian grandfather – eating after school snacks of cod and crackers while other children enjoyed cookies and milk. The cod prepared her well for a cooking school stint in the Basque Country of Spain. Earning her Master of Science degree in Agriculture, from Cal Poly, cemented her love of terroir, microclimates, heirloom vegetables and of course CHEESE!

Melissa is working on a Culinary Roadtrip Cookbook (sipsnapsavor.net). She also teaches consumable art classes to children and adults throughout the Bay Area, LA / Santa Barbara, and New York City.

Tabith StroupTabitha Stroup
Tabitha is not fond of rules and finds them especially odious when it comes to food, wine and enjoyment.

Having earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Anthropology and Food Science at Cal Poly and then going on to the California Culinary Academy – the girl knows her stuff.

A bonafide fromage expert, she likes to guide people on journeys of pleasure and leisure. She has served as pastry chef at Theo’s and the Dream Inn and knows every vine, wine, nook and cranny in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Tabitha lives on her own private vineyard and likes to host themed dinner parties (super hero, anyone?).
